Rehearsals & Performances
The orchestra currently rehearses each Monday night from 6:30 to 8:30 pm at the Music & More's DeWitt Theatre located at 11596 D. Ave. in Auburn (1st & D. Streets) at the DeWitt Center off of Bell Road in Auburn, California. Young, talented musicians interested in auditioning please call 530-885-0594 and complete the applicateion on line form.
Performances of AYS
There are two separate seasons for the performing year: The orchestra will perform at the Oaks of Auburn retirement home on Monday, Dec. 3 at 7:00 p.m. The Winter Concert will be held on Saturday, Dec. 8 at 2 p.m. at Music & More's DeWitt Theatre 11596 D. Ave., Auburn.
The Fall Season begins September 17th and culminates with a winter classical concert December 8, 2007.
Spring semester begins February 4th and concludes at the annual appearance in May with the Auburn Symphony during the "Music on the Green" Festival at the public library amphitheatre with the Auburn Symphony. Additional informal performances are held at the discretion of the Board and Conductor.
